About Us
Our Organisation
Elder Archaeology, CIC is dedicated to providing community-focused archaeological and heritage services. We specialise in delivering social impact programmes, education programmes, job training initiatives, community excavations and open-days, public lectures, support for not-for-profits, and research services. Our team is committed to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of our communities, and we strive to make a positive difference through our work.

Our Mission
At Elder Archaeology, CIC, our mission is to engage, educate, and empower communities through archaeology and heritage initiatives. We are passionate about creating opportunities for learning, skill development, and community involvement. By fostering a deep appreciation for our shared history, we aim to contribute to the social and economic well-being of the areas we serve. Our commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and collaboration drives everything we do.

Our Approach
Community Engagement and Social Impact are at the forefront of everything we do. We believe participation in archaeology and heritage can lead to the development of new skills, social groups, and a lifelong hobby and interest. Elder Archaeology, CIC was founded in order to make archaeology and heritage programmes more available to the general pubic. We do this through a combination of developing long-term programmes with community groups and by offering support to not-for-profits in a local area. We also work with developers to deliver programmes that satisfy Social Impact requirements for development schemes. Ultimately, our goal is to make hands-on learning, such as engaging with archaeological sites, more accessible to the general public. This approach has been recognised as Innovative by the University of Salford and by Innovator International.
